The next Land Rover Hanover and Cape Cod exclusive owners' event is coming up in November. Run annually for customers who have purchased their current Land Rover or Range Rover through us, this OFF-ROAD event gets everyone pumped up! It is a family event, though not recommended for younger children, and we take everyone through an off-road course designed to show you what your Land Rover or Range Rover is capable of.
We're still trying to figure out how to download our video camera clips from the last event in September we had, but we expect to have that done soon and then we'll be able to get great footage of this November event too!
Here are some tips for people who want to go off-roading provided by Land Rover North America:
As long as it is safe to do so, test the surface by walking over the ground before you drive over it.
Before ascending a hill, ensure you know what’s over the crest.
Always walk your water obstacle wearing wellington boots and carrying a stick for checking silt and underwater hollows. Better to get your feet wet than your vehicle stuck.
Never hook your thumbs inside the steering wheel, as any kickback from the terrain could sprain or even break them.
